View from Rodney's Pillar on a foggy day...
A website should not be a static entity set in stone forever. To be successful it will need maintenance and altering to adapt to changing circumstances and needs.
Probably the most obvious will be the optimisation of the site and pages to enable your customers to find your site on Google and other search engines. This is a process known as Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
Perhaps your site was installed and created a few years back and hasn't been updated since. Chances are that it is vulnerable to hacking - security may already have been breached and your site could be being used in phishing scams or infecting visitors with malware. I have seen sites that this has happened to and have dealt with the consequences.
